heysup insomnia. You're a pal. Thanks for not allowing me to sleep prior to a 6 hour day of classes WOHO.


On the bright-side, my group and I TOTALLY PREPARED for the video game presentation. Hellz yeah. I mean srsly my summer classes are awesome because in Game Design all we talk about is video games and in animation all we talk about are cartoons.

I MEAN SERIOUSLY CAN MY LIFE GET MORE FANDOM-Y? I'm totally letting out my fangirl all over the place. I'm such. A nerd.

What is also cool is in the video game class I'm totally the pimp and by that I mean I'm essentially the only girl in the class. Well there are 3 others but. er. LET'S JUST SAY I'M SUCH A PIMP. Kidding kidding. Believe it or not some of the guys aren't actually so socially inept/repulsive (lol vidja stereotyping, although the other girls sadly fit the bill, you know the whole pretentious girl vidja types). In fact some very cute guys run the video game area + in my class. Ehem. (LIKE HAY RANDOM GUY WHO SITS WITH THE CDS EVERY TIME I GO TO CLASS with the adorable afro and gorgeous skin.) Or two other beautiful guys in my gropup but only do I care about the socially inept one because I like that personality trait (or is that a lack of a trait) I need a checklist to compare their level of attraction to how impaired I become.

I enjoyed this weekend too much. So much art and whatnot. I need to be more productive more often. Also you have NO IDEA how much I love my new layout. None. Nadda.

so I scanned these all in and then did the coloring all last night and some touch ups today =) Haha it's nice to get a bunch of random stuff done XD.

***I based the fuzzy sketch off of the cover of the original Sid & Nancy film =).

I feel like, even though for some of my favorite things there are already picspams like this out there... I need to really do them as references =). They serve as great tools I find.




I was wondering how exactly I could even do a picspam for something that constantly changes in each moment. The spoilers are effective and I feel it'd be doing the show a disservice by ruining them, so I could not do a very expansive one... but I hope this gives you enough of a peak into what I consider to be one of the most beautiful and unique pieces of art.

All too much female characters are bashed, discarded, ignored, mistreated, etc. If you're planning to find one that you can admire, they're a hard breed to track down. I made this picspam to honor some of the greatest female characters that I have come across through different medias, and hope that it encourages some of you to find your own.

So I'm interested in seeing what awaits us with Thomas, I was disappointed he wasn't coming until episode 03.

If anyone would like me to make icons out of any of the specific caps I'll be happy to =). I made the images smaller to fit on my lj layout, but if you want I also have larger sizes.

As many know I am absolutely in love with Skins, and although I've been going in with a mix of apprehension and excitement going into the new season and cast, I finally got to see the first episode in beautiful view.



WARNING: Spoilers for ALL OF EPISODE 01. Although I know more beyond the first episode I'll make sure not to spoil~ =)

I split this up into character introductions and the brief review of everything else because the character do take up a lot of the meat of the episode.
